Farewell and goodluck to Liam

Written by Liam Ferguson

While I am excited about returning home to Alaska, I am saddened by the thoughts of leaving BVT and the many great people I have come to know and work with. It has been an amazing experience.

The diversity of work in any one week was something I have found to be one of the many great things about working at BVT. Every day of the last two and a quarter years has been an unique challenge and an awesome learning experience.

A particular skill I will take from my time with BVT is their attention to detail and high standard of work. Whilst this was initially intimidating, with the expertise and support provided by my colleagues my competency and resourcefulness grew; allowing me to efficiently provide the work to the gold standard that our customers require. This is undoubtedly a skill that I can take forth and apply to my future endeavors in Alaska and is one of the things I will miss the most about BVT.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who made my time here at BVT as memorable as it was.

BVT would like to thank Liam for all of his hard work during his time at BVT.  Liam always had a smile on his face, and was usually planning his next adventure or holiday.  Liam had a couple of months off last year with a broken hip.  He handled this situation remarkable well.  He had to be sent home a few times when he tried to return to work early, such was his commitment to his rehab.  Good luck Liam, keep smiling and we look forward to hearing about life as a gold miner.
