Recently, Fulton Hogan Signs & Graphics were awarded Gold and Silver in the Wayfinding category at the annual New Zealand Sign & Display Association Awards presentation.
Fulton Hogan Signs & Graphics received a Gold Award for their remodel of the Christchurch International Airport Limited (CIAL) Car Park signage system, designed to aide travellers’ navigation. Silver was awarded for the bespoke signage elements designed to showcase Koukourarata – Port Levy.
Around 600 entries were submitted for the 2015 NZSDA Awards with only 15 Gold medals and 25 Silver awarded overall. These prestigious medals recognise the industry’s best in outstanding design and craftsmanship across a broad range of signmaking methods and technologies.
“It is great to be recognised as one of the industry’s best and we are very proud of this win as we have dedicated many hours to the delivery of these projects to ensure they were a success” said Signs & Graphics Divisional Manager, Wayne Riggall.
BVT Engineering Professional Services was engaged by Fulton Hogan Signs & Graphics to provide structural design services for a number of signs to be installed at Christchurch International Airport. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designs and Producer Statement PS1 Design were supplied for foundations, sign frames, a single-column gantry and fasteners in accordance with the New Zealand Building Code.
